Although the plan of the Lord Jesus for the Church, as illustrated in the Great Commission, is purely spiritual, we also learn from Scripture that in certain justified situations, a congregation must show love toward those who are in need and suffering.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Love for our neighbor is one that is based on concrete actions (First Epistle of John, 3:18) and follows the divine model expressed by the Lord Christ in the parable of the Good Samaritan (Gospel of Luke, 10:36\u201337).<\/p>

Every person who is born again is called to glorify God by resembling the Lord Christ in both character and actions. God is a merciful, generous, and giving God, who has taught us through Christ to follow in His footsteps.<\/p>

As a Church, we believe that our testimony and love for our neighbor should be at the highest level\u2014higher even than the personal love shown individually by a single child of the Lord in the Kingdom. Thus, when there is a real need, and God blesses us with resources, we must help those in need, just as our Lord has taught us.<\/p>

Our most recent aid project is related to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. God has helped us gather resources, and we have been able to make them available to our brothers and sisters in Ukraine, as well as to those who are not yet our brothers and sisters in the Lord.<\/p>
